Issue: SPAM Email - Notification

Description: Instruction on SPAM e-mail notification

Resolution: – Shared mailbox for reporting suspicious emails. If you have a confirmed malicious email (something with a malicious attachment or malicious links). Request the user to forward that email to this email address and once done, delete the SPAM email from the inbox, sent items and deleted Items.

  • – Distribution list of the Information Security team. If you have any compromised accounts, please email this address and keep us informed so we can track the incidents.
  • The password needs to be reset first thing for all cases, irrespective of whether the user clicked the link or not.
  • Run the AV scans, Malwarebytes scans etc.
  • Update the ticket with the scan details – Whether any threats were detected or not?
