   Daymon University (DU) is pleased to announce the launch of its new online learning library—Lynda.com.  This new resource, which officially launched on Monday, January 25, supplements the e-learning modules available to associates on the DU Learning Management System (LMS).  Lynda.com offers a flexible learning environment with unlimited access to a training library of thousands of e-learning courses.

The courses are taught by industry experts, designed for all levels of learners and offered in three different languages (English, Spanish and Japanese).  Additionally, the courses are available to you at any time and can be viewed and downloaded to your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, Android phone/tablet, etc.).

 

Lynda.com offers a broad range of course categories that are relevant to Daymon associates across the global organization, including:

 

  • Business Skills
  • Leadership Development
  • Management
  • Marketing & Branding
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Professional Software
  • Design Software

Getting started with Lynda.com is as easy as completing the following three steps:

 

  1. Register on Lynda.com to set up your personal account
    • Go to http://www.Lynda.com/email-signup
    • Enter your work email address
    • Once Lynda.com verifies your email domain, you will receive an email from Lynda.com prompting you to create a profile.
    • Upon registering your profile, you can log into Lynda.com anytime and anywhere using your email address and password.
    • Refer to the attached tip guide for additional direction on how to register on Lynda.com.

 

  1. Become familiar with how to use Lynda.com.

 

  1. Choose your courses
    • Refer to the attached e-learning matrix as a potential starting point for identifying relevant courses to support your development needs. The list has been mapped to the different Daymon business units and Corporate functions in order to help associates easily distinguish the types of courses relevant to their specific roles. 
      • Note- Since Lynda.com is an external site, you will not see any Daymon-specific courses created by DU on this site. You may access specific DU courses through our internal learning management system (LMS).
    • Use the search feature on Lynda.com to identify courses most applicable to your personal development areas.
