Summary

All users must complete and pass the certification in order to utilize Volt.  Two things to look out for is if the user has received the Volt registration email and if user has completed Workday onboarding.

Frequently Asked Questions and Other Resources

These FAQs will share some information about what you can expect over the next few weeks. In order to ensure a smooth transition to SAS Retail Services, you will need to first complete your SAS Retail Services Onboarding. Please follow the instructions below. 

 

Start your SAS Retail Services new hire onboarding process
by following the steps below:

 

Step 1: Workday Username and Password

Watch for two emails on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 'NoReply Daymon' to be sent to your new SAS Retail Services email account to begin your onboarding process. The first email will include your username and the second email will include your password as well as information to help you log into your Workday account, our internal HR management platform. 

 

All onboarding materials must be completed by January 12, 2018. If you need assistance navigating through the system, please reference the attached Workday Employee Onboarding Guide.

 

Note: If you have not received the emails after December 19 and have checked your spam email folder, please contact AccessHR@sasretailservices.com or reply to this email.

 

Step 2: Workday Onboarding Document Completion

Log into Workday to complete your pending onboarding tasks, which will include the following:

  • Associate Contact and Personal Information
  • Emergency Contacts
  • Federal Withholding Elections (for payroll processing)
  • Acknowledgement of associate documents (I.e. SAS Employee Field guide, etc.)
  • State specific docs if applicable 

Step 3: Payroll: Direct Deposit setup

Once you have completed the above onboarding tasks, you will be able to enroll in Direct Deposit if you wish. Please see attached document Direct Deposit Setup Guide to set up your paychecks to be directly deposited into your bank account. Once completed and validated with your banking information, it generally takes two full payroll cycles to become effective.

Important Note: Please remember to save your Workday username and password for any changes you will need to make in the future.

Before you get started, download the "Merchandising One Best Way Certification Resource Guide". This is a summary of the content you will view while taking the online certification:

More Info...

The certification is designed to be viewed on a desktop or laptop that is connected to a solid wired or wireless network. Some mobile devices will be able to view the certification, but you may not be able to view all of the content.

 

Be prepared to follow the steps below:

 
 

1. Create your password

 
 

2. Upload your picture for your ID badge

 
 

3. View the online certification (~45 minutes)

 
 

4. Complete the certification quiz

 
 

5. Download WMT VOLT app to your device

 
 

6. Receive your ID badge from employer

 
 

Inform the user that the certification is time sensitive and expires after 14 days.  If they do not take and complete the certification course with the 14 day time span their account will be inactive in Volt.  At which point we (the helpdesk agent) will need to resend the invitation.
