Unable to sync data. User encounters “Connection to Server Failed” error while syncing Store Tracker with an AT&T mifi. 

Troubleshooting 

  1. Check users device connectivity to the AT&T mifi network (UNITE-X or ATT-WIFI-X) 
  2. Log in to either http://attunite or http://attwifimanager with the password attadmin 
  3. Navigate to Settings>Mobile Broadband>APN (http://attunite)or Settings>Network>APN(http://attwifimanager) 
  4. The Active APN should be 11260.mcs, any other AT&T APN will not sync to Store Tracker 
  5. If you do not see 11260.mcs you can populate both Name and APN fields while leaving Username, Password and Authentication blank then press the + sign to add a new APN.  Set as Active when completed. 
  6. Ask the user to restart the device for the changes to take effect.
