SAS – Laptop will not power on

This article contains the details of how to fix when laptop does not power on

Details: 

If a user laptop does not power on: 

  1. Disconnect any chargers then power cycle the device by holding the power button for 20 seconds 
  2. Ensure there is a sufficient charge on the device by plugging it via charger into an electrical outlet. There should be an indicator for device charge status on the tip of the charger plugged into the laptop. Leave it charging for at least 10 minutes then retry turning on the device 
  3. If the device still does not turn on, L1 will need to gather the laptop name/make/model before escalating to Level 2
