Managing Folders/Files in the VPN Portal - Process - DAY

Summary 

This article contains the process for managing resources in the VPN Portal, downloading files, deleting files/folders and uploading files/folders. 

 

Details 

Once inside a shared drive, one can download/upload/delete files or folders. Follow the steps below: 

Download files/folders: 

1. Log on to https://vpn.daymon.com 

  • The default VPN portal view should look like this: 

2.  Go to the file/folder that is going to be downloaded and check the box next to it and choose Download... 

3. All the selected Files/Folders will be compressed into one ZIP file

4. By clicking the Download button, you will kick-off the download process; when download completes, a folder will open with the desired content. 

5. Copy or Cut and paste it into the desired location.

 

Delete files/folders: 

 

1. In the VPN portal, browse to the desired folder, check the file(s)/folder(s) you desire and choose Delete… 

  • You are asked to confirm the deletion:

1. In the VPN portal, browse to the desired folder, check the file(s)/folder(s) you desire and choose Delete… 

  • You are asked to confirm the deletion: 

2. Choose Yes. 

  • The files are deleted and you are redirected back to the folder from which you deleted resources. 

  

Upload files/folders: 

 

1. In the VPN portal, browse to the folder you want to upload files to. 

 

  1. In the top-right, click Upload Files… and select what files you want to upload.

 

  1. When done, click Upload.
